I run a 1941 B&S #2 Light Plain. Great machine - I use it all the time - it is especially nice for squaring up stock. I paid $500 for it - came with a massive vise, 2 overarm supports, several long and short arbors, face mill and an ER40 collet holder. May not be my "best" machine, but it is a joy to run.-Scott

Smallest Universal Mill my B&S catalog shows is a 1A. The Omniversal does all the Universal does and more. It is about 1/2 the size. It is quite a machine actually, it originally came with a Universal Dividing head and Universal Milling head that incorporated vertical mill function as well.
