I am in the process of looking for hobbyist benchtop milling machine and the Sieg is one of the prospects. Just wondering from those people who own either the X3 or X4 version if you are happy with them and would you reccomend them. The mill is excellent for aluminium and plastics and will handle steel although you have to watch the speed and feed rate. The mill does require a bit of tweaking to get right but nothing too difficult or requiring specialised tools. I've had mine for 2 - 3 years and both get a fair bit of use.
